Be Thankful for Your Timeshare

At the start of the Thanksgiving holiday today, we came across an ad for a timeshare in Kauai still available for the Thanksgiving holiday. That's part of the beauty of owning a timeshare - if you are
willing to be flexible in your choice of destinations and willing to try a new place at the last minute, you may still be able to snag a few days for a Thanksgiving getaway. It doesn't get much better than a Thanksgiving vacation on a beautiful Hawaiian beach, or sitting before a crackling fire in a premier ski destination, while making lasting memories with the people most important to you.
Thanksgiving is a time a gratitude and an opportunity to be with family and friends. Timeshare owners have a distinct advantage in this area.  Whether we book a week in advance, or experience a last minute surprise destination, timeshare offers the opportunity to take regular time off with loved ones, as well as:
  • A multitude of resort options all over the world
  • The ability to bring family members together in comfortable accommodations
  • Accommodations with space to spread out and be together, but also to have privacy when needed
  • A kitchen to cook your Thanksgiving feast or a choice of resort restaurants to make things easier
  • Activities to appeal to all ages and glorious surroundings to just kick back in and relax
  • Substantial savings over regular hotel accommodations
As we think about all that timeshare has to give us, let’s not forget the many recent studies showing the lasting benefits to our overall well-being. Regular use of your timeshare positively impacts your:
  • Health and wellness (recharge and refresh)
  • Job performance – (reduce burnout, increase creativity)
  • Relationships and lifestyle (time with family without distractions)
So, during this Thanksgiving holiday, let's think about all that owning a timeshare brings to us and give thanks that we and our families can experience its many benefits. Happy Thanksgiving!

Airplane Travel Health Tips

Everyone wants to stay healthy on vacation, and Dr. Oz has some airplane travel health tips to help the process. Who hasn't heard of Dr. Oz? With a name like that you certainly can't forget him! Mehmet Cengiz Oz was actually born in Cleveland, Ohio, but of parents who had immigrated from Bozkur, Turkey. He's a cardiac surgeon performing over 200 open heart surgeries each year, and he is a complementary health expert. He has made frequent appearances on Larry King Live, CNN, and other networks. After guest staring on The Oprah Winfrey Show for five years Oprah's company, Harpo Productions, together with Sony Pictures, launched the "The Doctor Oz Show" on syndicated television in 2009.

Dr. Oz travels the world over, and offers some travel health advice that we'll pass on to you here. If you'll be flying to your summer timeshare vacation, these are some tips that will go a long way to help you arrive at your destination in fine shape and ready for the fun ahead.

Before You Travel
First of all, before you even travel, Dr. Oz says to "plan some prior protein." The last meal before traveling should contain a good balance of protein and starch (concentrate on the protein, he says), so you will feel satisfied.

At the Airport
At the airport and on the plane be sure to avoid salt and calorie-laden snacks. Extra salt will make your legs swell even more than they're already going to as you sit for long stretches of time with little exercise or movement.

On the Airplane
You'll want to do what you can to avoid leg swelling, and the possibility of blood clots in your legs, which, Dr. Oz says, even healthy people can get on a long flight. Try to walk up and down the length of the plane every now and then to increase circulation in your legs. And remember to stretch your calf muscles even while you're sitting.

Airplane air is very dry, so you'll want to keep well hydrated during the flight. Drink lots of water, unsweetened juices that might be offered such as apple juice and orange juice, and other non-caffeinated beverages. Drink alcoholic beverages very sparingly, if at all, as alcoholic drinks can be dehydrating.

Nobody likes to talk about it, but everyone who has traveled knows that constipation can be a real problem. It's a natural response by the body, says Dr. Oz, to unfamiliar environments, unfamiliar foods, and especially to an unfamiliar routine. Dr. Oz suggests being vigilant about taking in plenty of fiber and water. One reason why taking fresh fruit onboard the plane for snacks is a good idea.

Follow Dr. Oz's healthy travel tips, and have a wonderful vacation wherever your timeshare travels take you!

Where Will You Travel for Cinco de Mayo?

Today is Cinco de Mayo! Celebrations will be in full swing across the U.S. and in Mexico, of course, which means it’s a great time to plan and take a vacation. Here’s a few suggestions on where to travel to for the hottest Cinco de Mayo festivities:

Rent a timeshare in San Diego and visit historic Old Town where you’ll find live music and entertainment on 3 separate stages at Bazaar del Mundo, and great Mexican food too!

When you stay in a Las Vegas timeshare, you’ll find plenty of bars and restaurants offering food and drink specials such as The Patron tequila fiesta at Eve nightclub, $5 shots of Casa Noble and Corralejo tequila at El Segundo Sol and $5.55 dinner and $5 margaritas at Macayo's restaurants, with three locations in Las Vegas.

New York City puts a real kid-friendly spin on its Cinco de Mayo celebrations. While staying in your New York City timeshare, visit Staten Island where your kids can build their own piñatas and at NY Kids Clubs, adults can sip a Corona while the kids learn Mexican dances. Ole!

Celebrate in your Phoenix timeshare with outdoor performances of Spanish rock, Latin jazz, salsa, ranchero, and Chicano rock music. Enjoy watching the Mexican dancers that symbolize the color, fun and heritage of Cinco de Mayo.

And, even though Cinco de Mayo is mostly an American holiday, you will feel very “authentic" if you celebrate in a Mexico timeshare rental. Just the Mexican music will get you in the mood to dance and create your own fiesta. The best part will most likely be basking on the beautiful beaches while eating Mexican food and enjoying a margarita! Sounds like the best Cinco de Mayo celebration of all.

What Inspires You to Travel?

What inspires you to travel? If you're going someplace you've never been before perhaps you've heard just enough about the place to wet your appetite, or maybe the place was described to you in such magnificent detail that you simply must experience it yourself.

Renting a timeshare, purchasing a timeshare resale, and engaging in timeshare exchange are all easy, wonderful, and most advantageous was of traveling almost anywhere in the world. We know that. But the world is a mighty big place - how do you decide where in the world to go?

As Laura Townsend Elion, contributor to "Consumer Traveler," suggests, the idea could come from movies we see. Ms. Elion maintains, however, that one of the most influential contributions to our travel itch is literature. And it can start with the books we read as children. Books that vividly transported us to experience the heavy fragrance of lemon blossoms on the Mediterranean island of Crete (Mary Stewart's "The Moonspinners") or to feel the exotic dampness of Paris by walking under chestnut trees dripping with rain (the "Madeline" series). How about a timeshare vacation to Virginia to smell the same salt air and watch the wild ponies race as you did when you read Marguerite Henry's immortal story "Misty of Chincoteague."

With more and more timeshare exchanges opening up in China, one of Ms. Elion's favorite novels, "“Spring Moon,” by Betty Bao Lord, might just be what sends you to that fascinating country. This book, she says, is about two Chinas - the one of the past and the one we see emerging now. Besides its stunning descriptions of geography, Ms. Elion states that the book "helped me understand the nuances of pre-Mao culture, one that is just as beautiful, hierarchal, complex, and often times self-destructive as that in monarchial Europe."

Even Robert Louis Stevenson's timeless "Treasure Island" can spark the idea of a vacation to Pacific islands, as can the vivid descriptions by James Michener in his two novels "Hawaii," and "Tales of the South Pacific." There are a multitude of Hawaii timeshare rentals available, as well as exchanges in Tahiti, Fiji and even New Zealand, all destinations where you and your family can get a taste of the exotic south seas for yourselves.

Do you remember how you wanted to travel to Australia and experience Christmas with roses blooming on a hot summer's day after reading Colleen McCullough's "The Thorn Birds"? Think about the books you've read or heard about that intrigued you so much that a nibbling little thought of "maybe…just maybe" started to grow - then check out the many timeshares available the world over. Your dream vacation is waiting for you.

Travel Promotions Act is Again Passed by Congress

The Travel Promotion Act is back in the news. See our previous post "What is the Travel Promotion Act?" Passed by Congress in the fall of 2009, the legislation was delayed due to procedural concerns. Finally in February, 2010, the Travel Promotions Act was again passed by Congress with major bi-partisan support and sent to President Obama, who signed the bill into law on March 4, 2010.

The Travel Promotion Act is tendered on the fact that "Promoting travel is critical to both America’s economy and public diplomacy." Overseas travel to the U.S. continues to be down compared to pre 9/11 figures. In contrast, global tourism has increased by 30%, that's 35 million new travelers, over the same time period.

As the U.S. government has wrestled with the effort of identifying and heading off terrorist threats since 9/11, it has imposed security programs that impact all phases of travel, including the visa application, visa interview, use of personal data supplied to airlines and cruise lines, fingerprinting, and exit requirements. All of these have left international travelers confused, feeling unwelcomed, and more likely to travel to some other part of the world.

The Travel Promotion Act has identified a lack of information on American security policies as the greatest deterrent to visiting the United States. This legislation, therefore, seeks to improve America's diplomacy with travelers from other countries, and thus improve America's economy. Combined with visa and entry reforms, it is expected to bring millions of dollars into the United States economy, create hundreds of thousands of jobs, and have a 6:1 return in tax revenues.

The legislation calls for the formation of a nonprofit Corporation for Travel Promotion that will promote the United States as a travel destination and explain travel and security policies to international visitors. Most industry leaders feel that the passage of this act is a victory for everyone involved in the travel industry, including the timeshare community.

Travel to the Carlsbad Flower Fields this Spring!

Just north up the coast from San Diego, California, is Carlsbad, home of the amazing Flower Fields. Here you'll experience spring in such a blaze of color that you'll be dazzled for weeks. Imagine 50 acres of rolling hillsides in solid bloom overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean.

The beautiful Ranunculus, grown for the bulbs, flower here mid-March to early May, What began 85 years ago as single petaled blossoms in red and orange, have been carefully cultivated over the years to result in double petaled flowers in 13 exceptional colors, including the unique picotee, a mixture of variegated colors. Besides the Ranunculus flower, spears of colorful blooming gladiolus also fill the fields.

Known as a "national jewel," the extraordinary Flower Fields are both a working horticultural ranch and a tourist destination. There are a number of ways that you can enjoy the Flower Fields. Pick up visitor information and take a self guided tour, or join a group walking tour led by a knowledgeable tour guide. For some extra fun, climb aboard a tractor-driven wagon ride that also includes commentary by a guide.

Many other activities await you at the Flower Fields, including the ever-popular Sweet Pea Maze. As you wind your way through the maze you'll be immersed in the incredible sweet fragrance of this old-fashioned flower. The Walk of Fame is the only display in the country of every All-American Rose Selection winner since 1940. And the All-American Rose Selection (AARS) Garden is one of the 130 AARS-accredited public rose gardens in the nation that tests and displays new varieties of roses.

To give your family a truly remarkable spring vacation, and the opportunity really become immersed in Carlsbad's amazing Flower Fields, rent a timeshare at the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort in Carlsbad. At this resort you'll get the best of two worlds when you find yourself actually staying next to the colorful fields of flowers, and the beautiful Pacific Ocean beaches less than a mile away.

A timeshare at the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort is also perfectly located to be a hub for many other fun Southern California activities. Sea World and the world-famous San Diego Zoo are just a quick drive down the coast. And the Concierge will be happy to arrange trips for your family to Disneyland and even Hollywood.

Travel to London this Spring

PhotobucketSpring is a great time to visit London, England. Although the weather can be changeable, you'll avoid the summer crowds and hiked up prices. Those in the know advise renting a timeshare in London between March and June. During this time you'll get the "most manageable off-season weather," off-season prices, shorter lines at most of the attractions, and London in full spring glory. You can even plan a timeshare exchange in other areas of England and take an easy train ride into the capital city.

There are a multitude of quintessential things to do and see in London. A must-see, of course, is Buckingham Palace (see photo). This is the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II when she is in London. (A flag will fly above Buckingham Palace if the Queen is in town.) Tours of the Palace are available during the summer. However, if you're visiting London in the off-season, you'll still get a thrill out of watching the Buckingham Palace changing of the guards. If you're lucky you might even be there on a day to see the Queen's magnificent horse guard march out.

The Tower of London is another popular attraction. Here you can have an entertaining tour by a Beefeater and hear about the incarceration of historical figures, the murders of future kings, and political beheadings. Besides this rather infamous entertainment, you'll also have the unique opportunity to see the Crown Jewels up-close and personal, among them the diamond-encrusted Coronation Crown. And imagine seeing a sparkling red ruby almost the size of a hen's egg.

A cruise on the Thames River will yield even more famous London attractions. You'll motor directly under the Tower Bridge, past a replica of Shakespeare's Globe Theater, past the apartments where Dickens penned many a novel, and past the building where the pirate Captain Kidd was hung. You'll arrive in Greenwhich where you'll see the clipper Cutty Sark, and have the unique experience of straddling two time zones as you stand where Greenwhich Mean Time establishes time as it is observed by the entire world.

The Swedish pop group ABBA, the top-selling band of the '70s, is being celebrated with a touring exhibition in London from January through the end of March, 2010. To resurrect the magic of ABBA, "ABBAWorld" creates an interactive and audio-visual exhibition using state-of-the-art multimedia technology, including a stunning 3-D holographic stage show where visitors can actually "perform" with the pop icons.

So plan a timeshare rental or exchange in England and give your family a wonderfully unique vacation. And be sure to ride London's ubiquitous red double-decker buses while you're there. Seat the kids on the top deck in the very front for a real thrill, especially when the bus turns corners!

Timeshare Travel Ideas for You and Conan O’Brien

The ezine "Budget Travel" has posted an article discussing the possibility that Conan O'Brien, the embattled former host of NBC's "The Tonight Show" may be in dire need of some rest and relaxation. The article suggested "5 Places Conan Should Go on Vacation." Since timeshare owners are a considerate and compassionate group, we are going to list some of those places here, so that if he takes the advice, you'll know where to make a timeshare exchange in order to vacation along with Conan. Perhaps you can invite him over for a dinner of comfort food and homemade cookies in your timeshare kitchen. Heaven knows the man could use it.

Australia
Now that Conan is out of work, he'll appreciate that air fares to Australia are at a 5-year low. This will help you, too, of course. There are timeshare exchanges available from Queensland to New South Wales, where you can enjoy everything from the Great Barrier Reef to shrimp on the barbie. Winter in the U.S. is summer in Australia, so if you and Conan are looking for a vacation spot with blooming roses, warm nights and plenty of sun for tanning, Australia is the place. See all Australia timeshares.

Canada
First of all, there's the 21st Winter Olympics in Vancouver. With timeshare exchanges, and rentals, still available at the Games, you and Conan can forget your every-day woes and root for winners and cry with losers on a global scale. Apparently The Globe and Mail, Canada's largest newspaper, is calling for Canadian television to hire Conan, so exploring the entire country of our neighbors to the north might be fortuitous. You can exchange your timeshare and experience everything from the stunning natural beauty of Banff to the fun French culture of Quebec. See Canada timeshares.

Mexico
This is the perfect vacation spot for Conan. As the ezine article suggests, Conan could become hugely popular with his alter-ego, "Conanado." Always a great destination for discriminating timeshare owners and renters, you, too, should head south of the border. Relax on sun-drenched beaches, watch gray whale calves cavort with their moms, enter marlin fishing tournaments and at the end of the day, be sure to invite Conan over to your timeshare for dinner. See Mexico timeshares.

Travel to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme Park

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the new, highly anticipated theme adventure scheduled to open in the spring of 2010 at Universal Studios in Orlando. Plan your family vacation this year to include this exciting and dramatic experience by renting a budget timeshare in Orlando, Florida.

As everyone knows, Florida is not only a great place to plan a beach vacation, but Orlando has the highest concentration of theme parks in the country. Opened in 1990, Universal Studios is the second largest theme park in Orlando after Walt Disney Resorts. Universal Studios invites you to "Ride the Movies" by making you feel like you are in a movie set with rides that are inspired by popular films.

The massively popular series of books written by J.K. Rowling about the adventures of adolescent wizard Harry Potter were made into hugely popular films, and now have been transformed into "a completely immersive environment" that will bring the characters of the films as well as the wizarding world itself, to life. Both the Production Designer and the Art Designer of the film series have guided the creation of the Harry Potter theme adventure to ensure that the expectations of Harry Potter fans are met at the highest level.

Universal Studios has unbelievably transformed Harry Potter's fantastical world into a real place that you can touch, taste and feel. You'll first encounter the town of Hogsmead Village, entering by the station where the billowing steam of the iconic train signals your arrival. In Hogsmead you can sip Butter Beer at the Three Broomsticks, buy extendable ears at Zonko's, and have an amazing interactive experience at Diagon Alley's Wand Shop where, as you know, you don't choose the wand but the wand chooses you.

At the Sweet Shop you'll be able to try Chocolate Frogs and All-Flavored Bertie's Beans. Outside town near the Forbidden Forest Hagrid will train you how to properly ride a hippogriff. Your adventure with Harry Potter culminates, of course, at Hogwarts Castle, where you'll have the mind-blowing experience of "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey."

Airport Security Trends for 2010 Travel

If planning your 2010 timeshare rental vacation includes flying, you are undoubtedly wondering about airport security measures in the aftermath of the thwarted 2009 Christmas Day terrorist attack on an airplane destined for the U.S.

The following are the 2010 trends in airport security - what is now in place and what is being studied.

Full-body Scan
Metal detectors are efficient for detecting most metals, but unless they are set to a particularly high sensitivity they will not detect non-ferris (no iron added) metals such as titanium, gold and silver. And they obviously do not detect non-metal such as plastics and powdered substances. Hence the full-body scan, which is currently in a pilot program in the U.S. with trials being conducted at various airports across the country.

The TSA (Transportation Security Agency) is attempting to address the public's concern over privacy issues of the full-body scan by using a pair of security officers, one working the machine, who never sees the image, and a second in another room who sees the image but never sees the person.

CastScope
Implemented last year after a successful pilot program in 2008, the CastScope allows for easy scanning of anyone wearing a prosthetic device, plaster cast, leg or arm bandages, or braces. The dignity of passengers is maintained since they no longer must submit to removing clothing or to the embarrassment of taking off a prosthesis.

Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST)
This is a Homeland Security-funded project to study ways of using sensors to detect such things as heart rate, shifty eyes and fidgeting of passengers, that might help security agents figure out if a person has something to hide. A modified Wii Balance Board (from the home video game by Nintendo) is being used to detect variations in human behavior including standing still if calm, and shifting position if nervous.

Mind Reading Technology
This proposed security protocol "would allow the authorities to apprehend the wrong doers even before they have a chance to formulate their plans." An Israeli company, WeCU, is currently testing a device that will "project the images and symbols associated with terrorist organizations onto airport screens and then look for individual reactions, such as increased heartbeat, nervousness, faster breathing, etc." allowing immediate apprehension of suspects. No kidding.

Enjoy the process of planning your family vacation, and deciding on the perfect destination and budget timeshare rental. The TSA and its counterparts world-wide, charged with the job of keeping planes and passengers safe, are doing their planning as well to improve airport security measures and ensure your safety.

There are fun vintage rides the entire family will enjoy, including an antique wooden carousel and a miniature train that tours through the park. The walkways of Carousel Garden and Story land are lined with trees that have been decorated with handmade ornaments by local children - your kids will love choosing their favorites.

What is the Travel Promotion Act?

On October 7, 2009, the U. S. House passed the "Travel Promotion Act" (H.R.1035) with strong bipartisan support. The purpose of this legislation, which creates a public/private partnership, is "to promote the United States as a premier travel destination and better explain U.S. security policies."

When the International Olympic Committee met to choose the host city for the 2016 Summer Games, Chicago was very quickly eliminated in the first round of voting. This is a resounding referendum of how the rest of the world perceives international travel to the United States. IOC members told President Obama that "foreign visitors find traveling to the United States 'a pretty harrowing experience.'"

Roger Dow, President and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, stated, "It's clear the United States still has a lot of work to do to restore its place as a premier travel destination."

The Travel Promotion Act, which had already passed in the U.S. Senate, creates a promotions and communications program aimed at foreign visitors. "We need to take seriously the challenge of reforming our entry process to ensure there is a welcome mat to our friends around the world, even as we ensure a secure system," Dow explains.

The Travel Promotion Act is modeled after successful state-level programs. When it becomes law it is expected to also strengthen the U.S. economy. The legislation is estimated to create 40,000 new U.S. jobs, as well as stimulate $4 billion in new consumer spending. And according to Oxford Economies, a further bonus is the reduction of the federal budget deficit by $425 million over the next ten years based on the fact that foreign visitors spend an average of $4,500 per person per trip to the U.S.

"The Travel Promotion Act is an important step in making sure international travelers know we want them to visit our country," Dow said.

This positive exposure to U.S. travel can also strengthen the desirability of timeshare rental for international visitors.

How the Economy is Effecting Airlines and Travel

In a recent article from the Associated Press, it was reported that U.S. airlines are holding steady in this economy. This is due to the fact that many filed, or were close to filing bankruptcy in the last downturn, and they were forced to take a close look at their business. At that time, they reduced debt and cut labor costs so they emerged leaner and with fewer liabilities. This is helping them to weather the recession storm fairly well, though they are still faced with challenges.

Even with all those changes years ago, all the major U.S. Airline carriers lost money last year, except Southwest, and it is estimated that the worldwide airline industry will lose $9 billion this year. Even the reduction in the price of jet fuel is not helping because with no one paying for airline tickets, fuel costs are a mute point. Airlines are holding their own by stocking cash. Southwest has sold several jets and leased them back. US Airways Group Inc., and JetBlue Airways Corp. raised money by selling debt that could be converted to stock.

Reduction in passengers is the biggest problem. Noticeably people are traveling less. Business travelers have been grounded, or if they do fly are no longer sitting in first-class seats. Many personal leisure travelers are concerned about losing their jobs and have also reduced their travelling habits. In an effort to save money, American and Delta announced their plan to make even deeper cuts once the summer vacation season has passed, offering fewer flights or using smaller planes. Unfortunately, fewer flights means fewer jobs as there is less need for pilots, flight attendants and airplane mechanics.

Those who do choose to travel will be pleased to encounter some of the cheapest travel prices in years! Carriers have slashed summer fares in an effort to lure vacation hungry travelers out of hiding, so, for those who are willing, great deals are out there for the taking. This should be great news to those with vacation ownership, knowing that you can benefit from reduced airline fares as you book travel to your timeshare resort.

So, we can’t look to airlines to provide jobs to bolster the economy, but, it appears we can expect them to provide cheap air fare rates and if that will get people travelling again, that does help the economy through money spent in the tourism industry.

Timeshare Owners Can Rest Assured in This Economy

It’s been reported that despite the current economic recession the timeshare industry remains steady. What does this mean to you as a timeshare owner? Globally more hotels are allocating a portion of their rooms to timeshare units, because vacation owners represent a growing segment of the population that are still travelling in these tough times. This is due to the fact that timeshare owners have already acquired their points and paid their annual fees for their units, so, put simply, they already have a pre-paid vacation and are much more likely to use it than someone who does not.

People still want to take vacations, even in this challenging economy. Whether they feel they can afford to or not, the desire is there. And, considering the amount of stress most people are under, what better way is there to relax and renew your spirit than to visit a friendly and inviting resort focused on personal touches and value-added amenities. These are the things a timeshare resort can provide.

Hotels and resorts are finding the need to very competitive in this economy because the reality is that there are fewer travelers out there. Those that can add more attractive amenities will be the ones that get the visitors. The result? Timeshare owners win. And, with 5,000 resorts in almost 100 countries around the world, a timeshare owners choices are endless.

Timeshare and Travel Information Source

Welcome to the new Timeshare-info.org blog. We will be bringing you the latest information on the timeshare and travel industry as well as offering you a wealth of news and information about what you need to know as a timeshare owner, as someone considering buying a timeshare, or as someone who enjoys using timeshare rentals for vacation travel.

Timeshare owners already know that vacationing in a timeshare is the best way to travel, and so much different than a hotel experience. When you travel with timeshare, there are no surprises, so it takes the stress out of vacation planning and ensures your vacation needs are met. With more than 5,000 resorts in 100 countries, timeshare owners and renters can reserve their favorite vacation spot to return to year after year or exchange their week for a different location and a new experience.

With a standard hotel you get just one room with a bed and a bathroom. Those who travel with kids or as a group of four or more, know that cramming into a single hotel room or trying to arrange adjoining rooms can be a challenge. Plus, this setup is particularly difficult for families with small children. When the kids go to sleep, mom and dad's options are limited, as the whole family is sharing one room. But with a timeshare you typically get a full condominium unit with: one, two, or three bedrooms; a central living room (usually with a sleeper sofa); dining area; a complete kitchen (with full-size stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as dishes and utensils); washer and dryer; one, two, and sometimes even three full bathrooms. This difference can really enhance your travel experience by making you feel at home with the additional space and privacy. And for families, mom and dad can put the kids to bed in one bedroom and continue to enjoy themselves in the spacious living areas.

Also for family travelers, many timeshare resorts offer complimentary children's activities, such as arts and crafts, pool games, t-shirt making, karaoke, and more, giving parents a chance to spend some quiet time together. And, typically, great activities are close by the resort as well: water parks, miniature golf courses, bowling, family game shows, and movie nights, in addition to the standard tourist attraction or theme park you may have travelled to see.A timeshare resort also opens up a host of options that are not available at a hotel. The full kitchen allows guests to eat meals in their unit, rather than in restaurants every night, for a major cost savings. The washer and dryer in the unit means you don't have to pack as many clothes, which means less bags to haul around for an improved travel experience. Plus, many timeshares offer movie rentals on-site and VCRs or DVD players in the units, so you can save money on entertainment as well.

Timeshare usage for vacation travel is truly the best way to go. You can simply focus on relaxation, spending time with your family, and making memories -- which is what a vacation is really all about.
