Marriott Still Most Admired Company Says Fortune Magazine

For the 12th consecutive year Marriott International, Inc., has been ranked as the Most Admired Company in the Lodging Industry worldwide by Fortune Magazine. Marriott International, Inc., is also among the top 50 companies of 350 companies globally, as cited by Fortune, at number 37, and was the most admired company in its headquarters region that includes the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.

The Most Admired list is made up of companies ranked by 4,100 executives, directors, and securities analysts, based on nine key attributes of reputation, including: innovation; people management; use of corporate assets; social responsibility; quality of management; financial soundness; long-term investment, and quality of products/services and global competiveness.
